Applying Successfully for Tri-Agency/UGF Scholarship Funding (Workshop)

This workshop will offer graduate students a jump-start on preparing their Tri-Agency and UGF applications for the upcoming fall competition. The workshop will be presented by Dianne Tromba, Assistant Dean, Finance, Awards, PDI, and Administration, and Brendan Morey, Awards Administrator, from the Faculty of Graduate Studies. They will review eligibility criteria for each of the funding agencies, application procedures, and tips for putting together a strong application.  Samples from successful applications will be provided, and there will be ample time for questions.

Dr. Steven Taubeneck, Associate Dean, Scholarships and Graduate Research, will also be on hand to answer questions and provide comments from an adjudicator’s perspective.

Seating will be limited to 75 students.

Enrolment is restricted to UBC graduate students registered in the current academic session.
