On February 22nd and 23rd the University of Washington in Seattle hosted the West Coast Model EU 2013. Under the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union overall 27 teams of undergraduate students from the US and Canada simulated Council negotiations on such topics as the proposal of a EU-wide Banking Union and a reform of the Structural and Regional Fund program of the EU.
