On September 27, Conrad King (PhD candidate in Political Science and IES affiliate), will give a lecture on the politics of Canadian immigration to visiting students from the European Union. This lecture is a part of ‘Thinking Canada’, the EU-Canada Study Tour organized by the Network for European Studies (Canada), in partnership with the European Commission.

Dr. Kurt Huebner, Jean Monnet Chair for European Integration and Global Political Economy, represents the IES at the CETA Civil Society Conference on August 3 where Canada's Chief Trade Negotiator Steve Verheul will give a statement about the current state of the ongoing negotiations. Dr. Huebner participates in those DFAIT discussion rounds since the launch of the CETA project between EU and Canada.
