Andrea Nuesser is a PhD candidate in the Political Science Department at the University of British Columbia. Her main research interests are in comparative political behaviour, public opinion, and political parties. Andrea’s dissertation investigates the relationship between political parties and electorates, paying special attention to how the dynamic links between voters and parties vary across different party systems. With respect to Europe, Andrea maintains a research interest in European integration, especially in how European citizens perceive and evaluate the integration process. In the last years, Andrea has actively participated in various Europe-focused workshops and activities.
