The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence has opened a call for proposals for the International Emerging Scholars’ Conference, Migration, Identity and Politics in Europe, to be held at Carleton University, on March 1, 2019. This conference aims to build a network of emerging scholars engaged in cutting-edge research in the fields of migration and diaspora studies drawing on a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. Advanced doctoral students, recent PhDs and post-doctoral fellows, and faculty at the rank of assistant professor or equivalent position (for 5 years or less) are encouraged to submit abstracts. The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, January 11, 2019.
